Manager, Operations Quality Assurance

**Job Description Summary**: Purpose of the role is to drive and implement quality assurance framework and principals in LM production sites.

The position will report to the Global operations Quality Assurance Leader and will be located at the plant respectively and will work closely with all the plants in same region as well leading global projects and fundamental process ownership.

Key responsibilities include:

- Oversee, monitor and facilitate Quality Assurance activities across LM plants globally focusing on Europe for execution respectively including:

- Facilitate and support roll-out of in-process inspection concept.
- Review and provide input on FMEA and control plans, suggest effective process controls to ensure final product quality.
- Own inspection lists and prepare, implement effective check points for quality assurance and control checks.
- Drive initiatives to optimize inspections and focus on assurance checks.
- Identify and escalate potential risks in meeting the quality standards, policies and processes.
- Secure that the plants are trained and are utilizing problem-solving tools and 8D methodologies in their daily work.
- Drive, promote and Implement error proof mechanisms (Poka-yoke) to prevent defect occurrence in particular to support zero defect policy in LM with goal of reducing cost of poor quality.
- Support training of plant quality staff according to quality staff competency model for respective processes. Deploy best practices and boost quality culture in EU plants through quality moments and events
- Monitor and get FAI, process and system audits executed effectively in plants.
- Actively engage and support on problem solving approached for internal and customer related issues
- Support and guide plant to navigate through organization and quality readiness plan in advance
- Local language skills inevitable, skills in other languages such as Portuguese and French are plus.

**Required Qualifications**:

- A bachelor or master’s degree in engineering.
- A minimum of 5 years’ experience in working with quality within manufacturing, preferably within the wind industry.
- Knowledge of Quality Management systems and standards.
- Experience with performing audits and assessments, lead auditor certificate is a Plus.
- Experience in working with PDCA, SPC, 8D, Poke Yoke and FMEA methodologies, six sigma certificate is plus.
- Results driven, with analytical and numeric skills.
- Strong English language and communication skills
- Being comfortable to work in a global and dynamic environment, working in production as well as virtual mood when needed.
- knowledge about 7 quality tools are must
