**Financial Controller, Eterlast (Hybrid, 1-day a week in Office)**

**The Role**

As Eterlast enters an exciting stage of growth post-seed round, we require a Financial Controller to build our finance function across all areas of management accounting and reporting. This is an important position that will be responsible for developing accounting policies and oversee all financial procedures of our company.

**What You’ll do**
- A self starter who can build out our finance function from the ground up. This will involve implementing new systems, creating controls and developing processes
- Working with our Founder to prepare the company forecast models and budgets and management teaml P&L
- Prepare our annual statutory financial statements & quarterly VAT returns as well as having the Responsibility for statutory and tax compliance in the UK and Spain
- Report on our financial status on a regular basis and create ad-hoc reports when needed
- Build and maintain our Employee and Investor Share Options schemes, ensuring compliance for the respective jurisdictions
- Overseeing the team on preparing payroll for UK and Spain and streamlining this where possible
- Prepare investor financial reporting

**What you’ll bring**
- Have a formal finance or accounting background. Qualification is a nce to have
- Previous experience in an in-house finance role, preferably in a high-growth start-up environment
- Be tech focussed to build efficient financial operation processes
- Have excellent organisation and communication. Especially when it comes to sharing data and reporting with non-technical audiences
