**About the Role**

Halborn is in hyper growth mode and building out multiple new divisions. We are seeking someone with a “roll up your sleeves” attitude to support our next phase of growth. If helping establish secure corporate infrastructure in a high growth environment sounds interesting, this is the right role for you.

**Responsibilities**
- Own front line technical support for a team of 100+ security engineers and support staff
- Work closely with security team to deliver a high degree of assurance
- Evaluate, implement, and manage appropriate software and hardware solutions
- Design solutions that conform to institutional policies, standards and guidelines
- Utilize monitoring tools and incident tracking systems to detect incidents, take corrective actions and determine root cause
- Create and maintain documentation for clients and colleagues to serve as technical and/or end user reference
- Evaluate vendor proposals to assist in selecting most appropriate vendor
- Develop and implement change management policies and processes

**Required Qualifications**
- 3+ Years of Security Engineering or Systems Administrator experience
- The ability to communicate effectively about cybersecurity, blockchain technologies, and risk management with stakeholders at all levels
- Ability to work in a highly adaptable and nimble team environment with responsive communication
- Strong passion to learn and work in the blockchain / web3 industry

**Desired Qualifications**:

- Relevant industry certifications
- Prior experience in service delivery or advisory/consulting space
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer science or Cyber security is a plus
- Pass background and criminal record check
- Provide 3 relevant references
- Demonstrate technical understanding of blockchains/smart contract platforms through an assignment within 30 days on the job (examples include authoring a technical blog post, building a simple dApp)
