You are a data oriented and results-driven expert with excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion to grow and assist others to do the same. **WHAT YOU WILL DO** The Seagull Scientific Human Resources team is pivotal to supporting our people and managing a seamless experience for them each day. Our goal is to create a partnership with our teams that is people-centric and value-adding. Put simply, we come to work to create a fantastic experience that our employees will love, starting from the very first point we connect with them. **Human Resources**: - Support the HR department as you independently manage the employment cycle and perform a variety of personnel-related administrative tasks. - Prepare all relevant employee documentation, including contracts, amendments, posting job ads and processing employee's requests. - Manage onboarding and offboarding processes and ensure completion of all new hire paperwork, as well as updating Human Resource Information System (HRIS) records; compiling reports from database as needed, benefits administration (e.g., open enrollment process) and communication. You'll ensure compliance with all legal requirements. - Manage and administration of the time management tool and its continuous improvement, offering training to employees, adapting the platform to the reality of the company, as well as preparing KPIs. - Payroll review and process for EMEA. - Administer education subvention program in Spain "FUNDAE", LMS management, as well as management and administration of Compliance training. - Support on compensation matters: market review, promotions and progressions, compensation grades. - Accountable for HR standards, data management with an audit mindset while leveraging HR operations support. You'll also collaborate in additional KPI reporting, headcount tracking, internal communications, etc. - Support the HR team with the execution of people initiatives within the Region in line with the Business strategy. - Support building and implementing an effective employee engagement strategy to be rolled-out across the region, using meetings and internal events as important platforms. - Contribute to other people projects (depending on passion and availability). You'll participate in actions that generate commitment and increase people's motivation, including participation in the management of surveys, events, wellbeing initiatives, etc. - Manage and maintain regional people related content to intranet, internal communications, office digital programming and more. **Office / Facilities Operation and Administration**: - Serve as the primary contact for building management and for all departments on all facility/property matters. - Manage and maintains administration budgets, as well as relationships with all facility vendors and service providers (i.e., property management, coffee, cleaning services and copy machine, etc.) to ensure successful partnerships. - Coordinate hotel reservations, flight and transportation accommodations, conference room space and seating arrangement for all international employees traveling to Spain and special on-site events. - Provide administrative and support activities for the Madrid employees. Perform other duties and special projects as assigned. **QUALIFICATIONS** - 4+ years of experience with human resources functions within an international company. - Ability to speak and communicate effectively and fluently in English and Spanish. - Demonstrated ability to quickly become an expert on HR programs and initiatives. - Cultural awareness and experience/interest in working with people from different cultures/ geographies. - Strong team orientation with the ability to thrive in independent work. - Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work cross-functionally with all departments and geographies, to gain consensus and move projects forward. - Data savvy - attention to detail and accuracy. - Solid experience in HR and/or continuous improvement in a People function, ideally in a fast-paced tech company. **EDUCATION** - Bachelor's degree in Human Resources,
