- Job Purpose- The assistant works alongside teachers to promote effective teaching and learning while providing active supervision in the classroom to help maintain a safe environment for all students.- This role includes supporting children with special educational needs (SEN) in a primary school setting. It involves working closely with the class teacher and SEN coordinator to provide tailored support that enhances the learning experience of pupils with diverse needs.- Flexibility is essential, as the assistant must adapt to the needs of a growing school and actively contribute to its development and expansion.- Required Skills/Abilities**Qualifications / Training**:

- A teaching degree, such as a bachelor's degree in primary education or a related field.- Relevant qualifications, including CACHE Level 2/3 in Supporting Teaching and Learning, NVQ, or an equivalent certification.- Training in Autism Awareness, ADHD, PECS, Makaton, or other SEN-related courses is preferred.**Knowledge**:
- Native-level English.- Strong references from previous employers.- Native or C2 level proficiency in Spanish and/or Catalan.(Desirable)- Experience working with children with special educational needs, preferably in a primary school setting.- Understanding of safeguarding and child protection policies.**Skills**:

- Ability to build strong relationships within a team and contribute to a positive working environment.- Capacity to create an engaging, supportive, and effective learning atmosphere.**Personal Attributes**
