You hold responsibility for numerical modelling, simulations, post-processing and reporting of the justification / simulation results.
- You will be in close collaboration with engineers from interfacing discipline, e.g., design, materials & processes, manufacturing engineering etc.
- Sizing and stress analysis of metallic or CFRP aerostructure primary and secondary components by means of hand calculations, numerical simulations (FEM) and optimization techniques.
- Preparation of input data, definition of analysis details, review of results, etc. and ensure that high-quality engineering data are delivered on time.
- Author and review of high-quality technical documentation.
- Actively support improving team efficiency by shaping processes and building methods and guidelines of the department.

**yöu**:

- You have M.Sc. or Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- 5+ years of professional experience in stress analysis and structural optimization of primary and secondary aircraft structures
- Excellent knowledge of stress and fatigue analysis methods following established standards for CFRP and metallic structures
- In-depth understanding of the loading scenarios and mechanical behavior of aircraft structures
- Extensive working experience with the FEM solver OptiStruct and pre
- and post-processing tools HyperMesh and HyperView
- High level of self-reliance with the ability to work in a team, as well as autonomously
- Fluent English language skills are essential
