What we are looking for

SATLANTIS is looking for an Opto-Mechanical Production Technical profile.

A detailed list of the tasks to be performed is provided below.
- Inspect product quality

Use various techniques to ensure product quality, adhering to quality standards and specifications. Supervise defects, packaging, and product returns to different production departments.
- Record defective manufacturing materials

Maintain records and forms required by the company to report any defective materials or questionable manufacturing conditions of machinery and equipment.
- Clean mechanical and optical components

Clean mechanical and optical components using different techniques such as ultrasonic bath or wipes with isopropanol.
- Interpret assembly blueprints and procedures

Read and interpret blueprints that list all parts and subassemblies of a specific product. The blueprint identifies different components and materials, and procedures provide instructions for assembling a product.
- Assembly

Assemble components through bolted joints, following procedures and using different fixtures and tools.
- Ensure compliance with specifications

Ensure that assembled products meet established specifications.
- Operate coordinate measuring machines

Measure dimensions of parts and assemblies to check if they meet specifications.
- Align and secure optical components

Alignment using fixtures and tools to ensure a good relative position between the optical and mechanical component. Bonding optical components (lenses, mirrors, beam splitters, etc.) to mechanical components (metal parts, carbon fiber, ceramics, plastics, etc.) using adhesives.
- Use precision machines

Use electronic, mechanical, electrical, or optical precision machines for verification and validation tasks.
- Support environmental tests (vibration, shocks, thermal cycling, etc.)

Take products for testing when necessary. Provide support in the form of assembly, verification, photography, etc.
- Create and maintain documentation

Create and maintain assembly reports, non-conformities, and other documents related to the production area.

Skills and experience
- **Minimum studies**: Higher Level Training Cycle related to Mechanics
- **Minimum experience**:Not necessary
- **Languages** required (official qualifications not necessary)
- Spanish, native or high level
- English, intermediate level
- **Minimum requirements**:

- Experience and/or studies in mechanics.
- Experience and/or studies in the area of mechanical assembly and fine tuning
- Ability to work independently with little supervision and also in teams
- Ability and willingness to learn
- Average knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.)
- Willingness to travel by car 10-20% of the time within a 100 km radius: visiting suppliers, taking products for testing, project support, etc.
- B1 driving licence.
