The Project Manager is responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of multiple projects for our highest value customer account. This new role has been created to meet new and evolving requirements as our customer’s organization changes. By collaborating closely with external and internal stakeholders you will ensure that projects are delivered on time and produce the desired results.

Working closely with Product and Delivery teams, you will need to identify resource needs, dependencies and risks, and plan and manage projects that are interrelated. The project you will be managing involves working with a large cohort of stakeholders on a web-based marketplace and auction platform with various 3rd party dependencies. Therefore, you will have experience with and be confident managing technical and business focused projects.

To be successful in this role you will need excellent communication skills and will be able to build trusting relationships between teams, locations and stakeholders. You will be responsible for ensuring that expectations are effectively set, and managed, necessary outcomes are delivered on time, to the right quality, within budget and in line with overall business priority.

**You will**

Work closely with the Product Owner(s) and Solution Manager(s) to coordinate planning across and within workstreams for multiple development teams, by
- Ensuring customer satisfaction and engagement. Provide structure, transparency and be a reliable conduit between our company and our clients.
- Developing project plans (yes, sometimes including Gantt charts), ensuring resource availability and allocation and delivering projects on time, within budget and scope.
- Responsible for a project’s organisation and timeline, and its representation and visibility to the internal stakeholders and customers.
- Working with Product Owners to prioritise efforts and identify and manage risks and dependencies within and between inter-connected projects.
- Work with the Product, Delivery, DevOps & Support teams to identify and coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for execution of projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget.Responsible for project documentation and artefacts being generated and maintained, including burn charts, RAID Logs, RACI matrices, RAG Status reports etc. or any other materials that are identified by you, internal management or client PMO as being required for the project.
- Work alongside Product team to develop business case, scopes and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
- Establish and maintain high standards of project accounting & financial reporting, setting and respecting suitable budgets/margins for delivery.
- Provide clear communication to external customer stakeholders to ensure they are advised of the current status and risks associated with the programme of work.
- Measure project performance using appropriate systems, tools and techniques.
- Perform risk management and proactively minimize project risks.Work to facilitate the removal of impediments to the successful delivery of a project or program of work.
- Effective management of project closure and/or delivery continuity with all internal and external stakeholders.

**Requirements**:

- Demonstrable ability of successful planning and delivery in an Agile environment
- The ability to communicate objectives, plans, status and results clearly, focusing on critical key points
- Demonstrable experience of delivering projects in a technology environment. Marketplace industry experience preferred.
- Ability to anticipate, recognise, and work through resistance or setbacks independently
- Leadership skills and ability to drive collaboration across and within teams
- Working knowledge of agile project planning concepts in a software development environment, including estimation, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management techniques.
- Solutions oriented, with a track record of identifying and implementing creative solutions
- Ability to clearly articulate ideas, from both a technical and a business point of view.
- Have a strong focus on high-quality customer experience with both the client and their customer.
- Planning work with limited resources, creating hiring plans and resource allocation budgeting.
- Outstanding communication and organisation skills and attention to detail.
- Ambition to grow in your role and be able to use your drive, creativity, and initiative to move the team and organisation forward.
- Have team-working as a priority and drive constant improvement on collaboration.
- Actively elicit and provide feedback to drive continual self-improvement in yourself and others.
- Advanced English is a must.
