People Analyst

We’re looking for an experienced HR/People Analyst (f/m/d) to join our People team. This critical role will help us gather, prepare and analyse the growing volume of data. You’ll work across some of our core people products including hiring, performance reviews, workforce planning, engagement and other employee lifecycle surveys. You’ll also use your advanced Excel skills and other analytical tools to help us understand our data better, and can explain the story that sits behind the data.

Data and Insight is your passion and day to day, you’ll produce and improve our existing recruiting and people dashboards. You will help take the lead when it comes to collating and preparing data for specific projects or ad-hoc requests from within the people team. You’ll work closely with colleagues in other teams who enable Personio including Finance, Workplace and our CEO office. This is a new role for us and you can shape it the way you think is best

**What are the most important duties of this role?**
- Leverage Tableau, our BI platform to enhance, build and redesign existing dashboards and assure we are always up-to-date
- Collaborate with the People Leadership in understanding business logic and creating generalized data models for business-driven use cases
- Lead definition and documentation of People related metrics so that they are accessible and searchable for the whole company
- Identify and prepare data and insights that are relevant across the People team and prioritize them within the People & BI roadmap
- Educate your stakeholders on the usage of data and help them to become more data fluent

**What you need to succeed**:
You’re a passionate and driven data expert with a background working in high-growth, product or service led international technology companies. You’ll have built up your experience over several years in a similar role(s).

This will help you know how to deal with ambiguity, shifting priorities and come up with innovative solutions at pace. Ideally you’ll have worked with HR and other types of sensitive data previously:

- You have +3-4 years of experience as Data Analyst (f/m/d) preferably supporting the people domain (not mandatory)
- Strong SQL skills and experience with BI/Visualization tools like Tableau or Looker
- An analytical mindset, with the intellectual curiosity to search for context and insights behind the numbers
- Good communication skills and the ability to share your data observations with stakeholders on all levels
- Good networker to identify new projects with stakeholders and foster knowledge sharing amongst your peers
