Team Leader Within Finance Emea

**We are looking for a Team Leader in Finance in charge of leading an expertise domain of Finance in a transformation environment.**

**About Finance EMEA**:
EMEA Finance provides financial reporting for EMEA entities, in accordance with the expectations of the regulators and standards in force: measure, control and explain all the financial indicators required to monitor accounting, tax, regulatory, liquidity, credit risk and management result activities

It provides also the individual financial statements of the entities covered, the management results by business line, capital requirements and tax reporting, as well as consistent analysis based on accurate and controlled information.

The EMEA entities consist of more than 200 entities including CIB branches, BP2S branches, the mother company BNPP Paribas SA and its French subsidiaries. EMEA Finance entities covers approx. 60% of BNP Paribas Group’s balance sheet.

In a nutshell, EMEA Finance is the regional hub that measures, controls and explains the reporting on actuals of the Region’s entities. It allows Finance departments in the countries to focus on monitoring and fostering the performance of their Business Lines.

**About Oxygen Platform in BNP Paribas in Spain and Portugal**:
Main objective of Oxygen Platform is to propose services that cover the whole financial dimensions: accounting production activities, reporting, control, transformation projects and IT. As such, Oxygen is servicing not only Finance EMEA region but also the Global Group Finance Services and other Finance IT Shared Services.

Oxygen Hub is working over 2 locations (Lisbon and Madrid) and its management is transversal to Madrid and Lisbon.

The challenge at stake is to reach even further harmonized processes, to bring the data quality to the summit, and propose increasingly high-end solutions to be able to bring to the Group the efficiency required to reach the target objectives.

**What about your daily life?**:
As part of your mission, you will manage a team of approx. 8 to 12 people. As a team leader, you will be accountable of the **production activities of the team, but also be involved in the transformation program that aims to harmonize and optimize the operating model.**
You will join on of the 4 teams of the Corporate Accounting and Expenses team, in charge of all financials topics linked to fixed assets, general expenses, staff costs, and tax accounting.

As Team Leader, you will coordinate and supervise production works (accounting entries, controls, reports, analysis) ensuring suitable organization at all time between capacity and missions.

Hands-on, you do not hesitate to contribute actively to the team work when required and to dig into a specific process system and or normative issue to understand a complex situation and solve it with the proper stakeholder.

You will contribute to the** transformation** of the department following the strategical plan of Finance & Strategy for the 3 next years, both:

- in terms of tools: migration to single group solutions
- and in terms of organization: data quality improvement, harmonization and leanification of processes, implementation of our model based on on-shore, near-shore, and off-shore competence centers.

You will be an expert within the production teams and as such, key contact for all transformation projects in your area of expertise playing thus a key role in this set-up, reinforcing and ensuring efficiency in this international context.

You will contribute to the exchange of information with the other teams of Finance EMEA and the major stakeholders of Corporate Accounting and Expenses - ie: Group Finance, Management Accounting team, HR department, Account Payables teams across the world - contributing to the Finance Added Value Chain.

Change management will be a key component of your job. You will lead the team by communicating and delivering the vision, training, motivating and inspiring, organizing proper back-ups, aligning people, challenging the status quo while caring of the people ensuring inclusion and diversity.

Within the Subject Mater Stream EMEA CAE team, you will take the responsibility of one of the 4 sub-teams.

Within a team of experts in an extended team approach, you help explain the evolution of business lines’ activities around your reports or specific dashboard.

You justify several years of minimum audit or accounting experience. Your level of English is advanced and you are either French speaker or eager to learn. You are recognized for your sense of client orientation, analytical skills, and organizational capacity. You know how to lead a team in changing world and you have a strong leadership. Add your rigor and ability to work together to succeed in this position. Finally, travel to Paris, Lisbon or Mumbai may be required.
