Madrid, Spain (Hybrid)

The Oracle ERP Service Owner is responsible for the strategic oversight, governance, and operational management of two Oracle ERP instances used by the Hitachi Rail GTS division. One instance supports UK operations exclusively, while the second supports operations across nine European countries. The role requires leading a squad consisting of internal and external resources, delivering efficient ERP solutions aligned with business objectives, and managing compliance and operational risks.

What will your responsibilities be in this role?

Strategic Leadership & Roadmap Development- Develop and maintain a strategic roadmap for Oracle ERP instances to align with GTS business objectives.- Establish performance indicators (KPIs) to measure ERP service effectiveness.

Service Delivery & Agile Management- Own and prioritize ERP-related service backlog.- Collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate into actionable deliverables.- Ensure timely, on-budget project delivery and enhancements.- Manage the Multi-Year Budget (MYB) ensuring financial alignment with organizational goals.

Vendor & Contract Management- Manage licensing, contracts, and relationships with Oracle and third-party integrators.- Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, data privacy regulations, and internal governance.- Collaborate with Procurement and Legal teams on contract negotiation and renewals.

Change Management & Training- Drive effective change management programs to maximize ERP adoption.- Oversee training initiatives to enhance user competencies and reduce support dependencies.- Implement governance frameworks to standardize ERP usage across operations.

Compliance, Security & Risk Management- Ensure ERP systems comply with corporate security policies and regulatory standards.- Oversee robust data governance and security measures.- Develop and maintain risk mitigation strategies for ERP availability, disaster recovery, and business continuity.

Application Support & Incident Management- Provide strategic oversight for the resolution of ERP system incidents and issues.- Maintain comprehensive documentation and promote knowledge sharing within teams.- Drive continuous service improvement based on user feedback and analytics.- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field. Master’s degree in the field of computer science or computer engineering.- Relevant Oracle ERP certifications are highly desirable.- Minimum of 8+ years managing Oracle E-Business Suite environments.- 5+ years leadership experience, managing distributed teams.- Proven experience with ERP integrations, upgrades, and migrations.- Certificate in Agile Service Delivery.- Certification in ITIL
