**Briefing**:
Your mission here is to deliver the very best documentation for both your colleagues and your external audience, and to continuously improve the way we document, write, and develop.
You'll have ownership of **API documentation** (i.e. developer’s site), both internal and external. It’s not _only _API documentation, of course, but also user manuals, release notes, wikis and such.
You'll join as our only Technical Writer in Barcelona and, while you'll team up with your colleagues here, you’ll work closely with two experienced Technical Writers based in our Amsterdam and Bratislava offices.
Your two teammates are very technical and big on automation, so if you’re interested in learning scripting, you’ll have the chance to do so here.
We’re a company where software documentation and tech writing are top priorities, both for Executives as well as for Engineers. It's not merely something we must do. Solid documentation, and documentation processes, are at the core of the way we work.
We offer our clients comfort, especially during the onboarding of our platforms in their environment. Therefore, we need to make sure we write spot-on documentation, which is easy to read and understandable.
Our office is located on Passeig de Gracia with Diagonal and our hybrid workplace model allows us to bond and share moments at the office while enjoying the flexibility of working from home up to 4 days per week.
**About you**:
- You're an experienced Technical Writer, specifically within software documentation
- You’ve used various tools like Confluence, Jira, draw.io and semantic markup.
- Your written English is advanced, as all our documentation is in English.

What do we do exactly?
We create banking IT that financial providers (like retail banks) use to power their loan, mortgage, savings, investments and pension products. Our technology (referred to as a core-banking platform or digital banking processing platform) is built in the cloud and is a modern alternative our clients use to replace their vintage back-end banking IT systems.
With our platform clients save on IT costs, can meet new regulation standards, and offer their customers better digital banking experiences. In practice, our platform enables our clients to manage millions of investment accounts with no staff, complete a mortgage process in hours not days and offer innovative new banking propositions like green loans, save as your spend features, and much much more.
