**Your challenge**:
As a Technical Writer, your main focus will be getting **customers and colleagues up to speed** with our supply chain planning software by** writing clear and user-friendly documentation. **Having a strong affinity with continuous improvement, you will work in close collaboration with product experts and our software development teams to gather knowledge and information.
You are responsible for:
- Keeping **documentation up to date **for colleagues and customers.
- Continuously learning the **new features of our software**. Over time, you will become an expert and point of contact within the company.
- Creating clear, understandable **training material for interactive and e-learning courses**. Your creativity will make every video, e-learning, and webinar a success.
- **Giving training **to customers and colleagues, depending on your interest and qualifications.
- Sharing best practices with your colleagues and building bridges between different teams to **assure knowledge dissemination**.
- **Taking ownership **of your documentation projects and proactively aligning with the relevant stakeholders.
**Your team**:In your role as a Technical Writer, you will be the connection between the Training & Documentation team and one or more expert teams. These expert teams specialize in solutions for a specific industry or business area.
In addition, you will closely cooperate with our Product Design team. They drive OMP’s product road map based on a strong future vision and deep technological overview. Your combined expertise will inspire both internal and external stakeholders.**
**Your profile**:
We are looking for someone who meets the following qualifications:
Minimum 3 years' experience in technical writing
A bachelor's or master's degree in languages, supply chain, (computer) science, engineering or similar by experience.
An excellent command of English (written and spoken) and experience in writing technical documentation
Strong affinity with IT
You are analytical, work very accurately and independently.
Excellent communication skills with a good team spirit
Bonus points if you have:
Experience with technical writing for a software company
Experience within the supply chain planning domain
Knowledge of any other language, for example Dutch, German, Spanish, or French
