**Your role and work environment**:
We are looking for a talented and enthusiastic **Data Protection Expert **to join our **Data Protection Executive Office** Team within the **Data Management Tribe.**

The responsibility of this team is review and enhance current Data Protection framework and ensure that the whole organization understand their role with the objective of ensuring that everybody knows the impact and inherent risk (from different dimensions) according to GDPR and looking for the best and fitted proposal for our customers. Also, the execution of the framework designed to eventually implement the program accordingly

**Your key responsibilities**:
As a Data Protection Expert you will:

- Coordinate and execute the implementation of privacy projects from the First Line of Defense and ensure compliance with data protection regulation in a proactive way, looking for an excellent customer experience. Consult and align priorities with the rest of data protection team members and liaise with DPO (within the Second Line of Defense) when necessary.
- Manage dependencies, impediments, and priorities of the local business areas to ensure that they support the needs of privacy projects.
- Design Data protection policies and procedures ensuring minimum business disruption and implement them across the organization in a friendly and understandable way.
- Maintain a privacy network to ensure that data protection is embedded in every corner of ING.
- Provide support in incidents and individual rights management.
- Create smart KPIs and reporting to allow monitoring data protection activities.
- Assist in the execution of Data Protection Impact Assessments and maintain the Record of Processing Activities.
- Perform Data Protection testings, identifying gaps and defining remediation actions.
- Ensure implementation of personal data retention and deletion project.
- Assess and monitor third parties that collaborate with ING, including international data transfers.
- Ensure proper document management to meet the accountability principles.
- Encourage communication between the different areas of the Bank (business, technology, etc.) to ensure that data is a key asset.

- 2-5 years of experience managing data protection & privacy projects.
- Advanced level of English.
- Advanced level of Excel & Powerpoint.
- Certifications related to data protection and technical/security background are desired.
