Mission and responsibilities:
As Data Protection Expert, you will be reporting to Openbank´s Data Protection Officer, and will be the person in charge of providing support in data protection matters, collaborating in those issues deemed necessary.

The main tasks of this position will be the following:

- Participate in all processes that deal with the processing of personal data and providing relevant consultations.
- Create and implement strategies to ensure compliance with data protections laws.
- Perform DPIAs, PIAs and LI assessments and build/maintain the client’s RoPA.
- Analyze risk associated with data processing operations and monitoring compliance with GDPR and other personal data legal requirements.
- Mantain processes for receiving, documenting, tracking, investigating, and acting on all requests/complaints concerning the organization’s privacy policies and procedures.
- Provide regular data protection-related training of regulations and company procedure updates to staff.

To be successful in the role you must have
- Bachelor´s degree in law.
- Completing a master's degree in technology and / or data protection will be a plus as well as having courses or interests in data protection / T&O.
- +6 years of relevant legal/ compliance experience, including at a law firm or prior in-house experience.
- Advanced English (C1).
- It is desirable to have knowledge of other languages such as: German / Dutch / Portuguese.
- Certification as DPO / IAPP or similar.
