SITE PROCUREMENT LIAISON MANAGER
MADRID
From MCR International, we are looking for a Site Procurement Liaison Manager, for an important client in the pharmaceutical sector located in Madrid.

Purpose of the job
Site Procurement Liaison Manager will be working with local/ transactional suppliers to ensure best sourcing deals, leveraging the company's regional presence, and buying power.

The Role
- Category strategy - (a) Support CL developing global category strategies by providing regional relevant information; (b) Enforce the implementation of the category strategies; c) Develop the supplier relationship with local/ site’s transactional suppliers.
- Business alignment - (a) Builds effective relationships with internal key stakeholders. Support Head of Procurement EU Shared Service with analysis of procurement opportunities or risks that affect the future course of the business; (b) Ensure alignment with site’s SCM (c) implementation Procurement policies, procedures, instructions.
- Category knowledge and expertise - (a) Monitors and understands the market, key players, and demand drivers for the category; (b) Shares the category information and knowledge with the key stakeholders; (c) Has a good understanding of external policies, regulations and laws related to the category.
- Supplier relationships and contract management with transactional/ site suppliers - (a) Managers interaction with local/ transactional suppliers; (b) make sure that for the agreed preferred suppliers category agreements are in place; (c) Ensure that transactional suppliers' contracts are always timely renewed and obtained via process guaranteeing best commercial conditions; (d) Leads the RFI/RFP processes and negotiations for site/ transactional suppliers; (e) track & manage performance of transactional/ site suppliers.
- Category data stewardship, reports and KPI’s - (a) Monitor and gathers spend data from various sources (ERP, BI, supplier info, etc.); (b) Captures financial savings through insights and analysis; (c) Works with CoE procurement to gather supplier data.

Main responsibilities
- Supplier Management of transactional suppliers
- Negotiation & Contract Life Cycle Management for transactional suppliers
- Tbc: Purchase Ordering Execution

Qualifications:

- University degree and work experience at least 5 years in Procurement and/ or SCM
- Knowledge of Procurement processes, esp. Purchase-to-Pay
- Experience in Supplier Account/ Relationship Management
- Good analytical skills, structured and methodical approach
- Collaborative and constructive communication
- Deliver on promise with a can-do attitude
- Self-starter
- Strong negotiation skills
