**Opportunity Summary**:
We are looking for a project manager to be responsible for organizing programs and activities for Smart factory team in BD. You will be tasked with developing programs to support the organization's strategic direction defined for digitalization of manufacturing operations, as well as creating and managing long term goals. You will also be in charge of developing budgets and operating plans for programs and writing program funding proposals.

In order to be successful in this role, you will need to have prior experience in both program management and team management.

In this position you will report to the Central VP of Lean Management/Operations in BD

**Responsibilities**:
The objective of this role is to work within our Information Technology team to deliver IT/OT projects on time, budget and quality. You will fully control IT project costs including PO triggering, checking vendor invoices, the correctness of bookings, cost monitoring and reporting. You will ensure compliance of the system and the project according to internal policies and external regulatory requirements. You will have close collaboration with the IT-AM team to confirm a smooth transition into operations at the project end.

**Primary responsibilities will include**:

- Organizing programs and activities in accordance with the mission and goals of the organization.
- Developing new programs in Smart Factory to support the strategic direction of the organization and you will warrant IT system is fulfilling business requirements considering the global IT/OT core delivery and operating model.
- You will maintain Project Portfolio Management Tool PPMC including cost plan. Developing a budget and operating plan for the program.
- Developing an evaluation method to assess program strengths and identify areas for improvement.
- Writing program funding proposals to guarantee uninterrupted delivery of services.
- You will coordinate all IT related tasks within the project and acing as SPOC between the different internal and external IT service delivery units and IT vendors.
- You will guarantee accurate IT resource planning and staffing to ensure IT-related project tasks are delivered according to timelines and in the right quality.
- Ensure projects and initiatives are delivered, providing consistent and effective communication on status and managing escalation and avoiding risk.
- Implementing and managing changes and interventions to ensure project goals are achieved.
- Meeting with stakeholders from Operation and Quality to repport regulary projects status and you will be responsible to produce accurate and timely reporting of program status throughout its life cycle.
- Support the business in the strategy and startup of their Manufacturing digitalization journey and Manufacturing analytics capability.

**Qualifications & experience**:

- You are an experienced project coordinator (5+ years) with a proven track record of leading, driving and successfully closing IT or OT projects in a sophisticated, global matrix organization
- You have a solid knowledge of IT infrastructure platforms and OT systems of a common shop floor in Pharmaceutical or Life Science industries (Automation or Engineering background knowledge is advisable e.g. PLCs, HDMIs, DCS, BMS)
- Prior experience in managing Manufacturing models and concept in Industry 4.0 deployment programs is strongly preferred
- You are thoroughly familiar with current Manufacturing models and concepts in Healthcare or Life Science (ie ISA-95) and you have a proven track record in Pharmaceutical GxP project implementations.
- Proven stakeholder management skills.
- You have a profound experience in working in multi-functional, multi-cultural teams as well as a demonstrable ability to lead international teams
- You have the ability to work with mínimal direction and excellent self-management skills (e.g. prioritization of tasks)
- You have an excellent command of written and spoken English, German or French would be an advantage
- You have solid foundations in project management methodology (preferably PMP certification)
