**About the job** ‍

As Global Operations team at Paack, our mission is to standardize all the operations to ensure that is scalable within a business that grows at a very fast pace, also bringing innovation to those process, seeking to improve the operations globally.

**Short description of the role**

You are responsible for the overall maintenance and in charge of repairing Paack’s automation solutions. You will be based in Madrid but travelling to other distribution centres will be required. In addition, the role will execute scheduled preventative maintenance activities and follow all appropriate safety practices. You will work under the direction of the Head of Global Ops Automation and assist them in formulating preventive maintenance standards and work procedures.

**Main responsibilities**
- Plan and execute scheduled preventative maintenance activities to ensure maximum uptime and throughput for the automated systems in Madrid WH
- Repair robots and conveyor systems, including but not limited to; install and adjust belts in machinery, tightens bolts, adjusts tension rolls, straightens parts, aligns rollers, correct photo eyes, replaces defective parts, and other activities
- Be responsible for the operation of the automatic facilities
- Be the suppliers POC for the systems reparations
- Support the Local team in the resolution of problems including jams that affect the systems operation
- Assist in formulating preventive maintenance standards / work procedures while performing those duties and provide feedback on discrepancies noted in service delivery
- Coordinating with other employees to ensure that materials are being handled correctly and efficiently
- Follow all appropriate safety practices in all activities
- Possess working knowledge of the warehouse control system (WCS) tools to enhance the maintenance and operational activities
- Understand the automatic solution and manual operations implemented in Madrid WH
- Support the installation and ramp-up process in any other Paack WH if needed.
- Propose improvements for the automation solution
- Ensure the health and safety plan is followed by everyone onsite
- Identifying and eliminating defects and errors with product and software development

**About you**
- Technical Engineering degree
- Knowledge of automation and robotics applied to logistics
- At least 2 year running automation installations in Warehouse Operations
- Project management experience in short-term projects
- Knowledge of data analysis and process improvement techniques
- Good communicator
- Ability to deal with suppliers
- Ability to work under pressure and reach targets
- High Spanish and English level in both oral and written skills
