'VF MVNE' is the team responsible within Vodafone España to manage the platform and the product of the **MVNE (Mobile Virtual Network Enabler)**. The MVNE is supporting **Lowi**, VF SP Carrier Services and VF MVNOs (Mobile Virtual Network Operators) through its propietary assets including a complete Core Network, BSS/OSS, OCS, API and Front End tools

As the **SR QA test engineer**, you will have a key role in the Quality Assurance for our customers, served by Vodafone MVNE platform, spanning telecom BSS/OSS, OCS systems and network elements. You will be in involved of all aspects of Quality Assurance - functional, stress/performance and automated testing being the most important ones.

From Vodafone MVNE team we are looking for a highly motivated Senior Engineer in Test to join the QA Backend team that will have hands-on responsibilities for developing and maintaining our test automation and tooling, working across teams to mentor other QA Engineers, and design, develop, and implement frameworks.

**Responsibilities**:

- Adhere to the defined Quality Assurance processes and procedures.
- Ensure consistency of approach on QA across the different activities the community members are engaged in.
- Collaborate and assume responsibilities in the correct execution of all QA activities:

- Define test cases jointly with the Product Owners
- Preparing specific data and the environment for manual and automatic executions.
- Functional Test plan executions in QA and Preproduction environments within the defined SW development lifecycle
- Support to deployments to production both with regression and functional tests
- Developing automatic test cases.
- Reporting.
- Foster an active interchange of knowledge and experience across the community members.
- Participate in an Agile team, performing either under Scrum or Kanban.
- Participate in troubleshooting and triaging of issues with different teams to drive towards root cause identification and resolution.
- Proactive development of continuous integration / continuous delivery pipelines.
- Support continuous improvement of the overall Software Development Life Cycle.

**Requirements**:

- Master of Engineering or similar.
- At least 2 years of experience in testing activities: component testing, integration and verification, test automation, test management, validation and acceptance.
- Mandatory knowledge of XML, Web Services, REST.
- Mandatory knowledge of relational databases and SQL (Microsoft SQL Server).
- Admin-level knowledge of the JIRA tool.
- Experience in testing microservices with tools such as Postman, SoapUI/Ready APi, Zephyr and experience in swagger tests.
- Design and implement test automation using appropriate tools - with an opportunity to influence the design of testing strategy and tool choice at early stages of the project.
- Experience with Test Automation tools and frameworks - Selenium, Cucumber, Robot Framework, Cypress, etc.
- Familiarity with Github or similar. Also familiar with Jenkins or similar.
- Fluent English, both oral and written communication. The project internal communication language is English.

**Nice to have**
- Valuable, knowledge of No-SQL databases (MongoDB).
- Valuable Programming knowledge. Experience with coding using Python, Javascript or other languages is a nice to have
- Valuable experience with automated build and deployment tools - TeamCity, Kustomize, ArgoCD, Helm.
- Valued Experience in Agile methodology.
- Knowledge of telecoms market and/or expertise within the fixed/broadband or mobile segments would be advantageous; experience in BSS/OSS systems and have an understanding of main business processes.
- Strong analysis and practical problem-solving abilities to resolve challenging situations
