HAYS is collaborating with the leading provider of micro and optoelectronics services in engineering, procurement, assembly, and test in space and harsh environment markets. They provide a single point of contact for all high reliability electronic component needs, covering testing, engineering, procurement, storage, quality control, certification and consultancy.
They have played and continue to play an important role in the field of component engineering, procurement and testing in most European space projects, as well as in a large number of non-European projects (India, Japan, China, Russia, Israel, Brazil, Argentina, among others).
In addition, for space and other demanding sectors of activity such as aeronautics, defence and security, they have been involved in numerous product conformity projects.
We are looking for a QA Test Engineer, to expand their team.
What would your duties be?
- Execution of test plans for the correct verification of compliance with functional requirements at end-user level (software and hardware).
- Joint analysis with the client of the results obtained.
- Recording of all incidents and definition of new developments to be implemented to achieve product compliance.
- Improve test plans and test cases. Execute and automate test cases.
- Understand test requirements and test characteristics. Work closely with product teams, developers and other engineers.
- Design and build end-to-end test cases.
- Ensure that delivered software meets the required quality levels.
- Work with different stakeholders and other developers to define test strategy, as well as implement continuous integration and test automation approaches.
Which are the requirements for this position?
- Experience with bug reporting tools (JIRA, Redmine, GIT).
- Experience with test management tools (TestRail, ALM, TestLink).
- Profile with more than 2 years of experience as QA in functional testing.
- Fluent level of English is mandatory.
