**Job Purpose**

The **Transformation Business Partner, **as a member of the transformation team**,** is responsible for the business **momentum** of the different assigned project initiatives providing a drive toward results and accomplish the mission of each transformation initiative.

**Main Responsibilities - Tasks**

Reporting to the Chief Transformation Officer, roles & responsibilities could include but not be limited to:

- Provide business expertise and strategic direction based on previous experience, knowledge of Transformation objectives and achieve the mission and vision for Vueling.
- Inspire action by providing external and internal benchmarks, glass ceilings and aspirations for current year and next 3-5 years.
- Direct work prioritization through a strong understanding of the interdependencies between performance KPI´s, working initiatives to provide recommendations on prioritization and sequencing of workstreams.
- Accelerate the transformation by quickly identifying risks, opportunities and working within existing transformation governance model to expedite approvals.
- Share knowledge in a 360 format, adjusting messages appropriately for the different audiences, up, down and sideways.
- Ability to proactively maintain executive level status and reporting across multiple initiatives with little oversight.
- Stay abreast of industry trends and benchmarks in their area of expertise, continue to learn and study industry best practices for LCC´s.
- Oversee development of executive level materials providing a strong understanding of the Vueling Transform forum and appropriate topics.
- Develop and deliver effective informational executive level presentations, ability to provide clear structured decision support.
- Collaborate with all areas of the organization to support the Transformation initiatives, including but not limited to finance, IT, data, and other shared services
- Execute quantitative data analysis, typically using Excel.
- Guiding business leads and sponsors to provide transparent updates business results and in project milestones.
- Understanding of escalation paths, when to challenge, when to escalate.
- Distilling a large volume of information into salient points, becoming a center of knowledge and expertise in the areas of transformation to which they are assigned (be the “go-to” person for their area).
- Manage resources including tasks, budgets and external resources.
- Facilitate communication and stakeholder management at all levels from IAG and Steering Committee to the rest of the team.

**Main Relationships**

All key stakeholders across Vueling and IAG: Transformation Team, Project Sponsors (MC members), Business Leads and other Leadership within Vueling and IAG’s Steering Commitee (holding company).

**Education**
- Bachelor’s degree.
- Master´s degree or equivalent work experience.

**Experience**
- Minimum 1 year at Vueling preferred but not required.
- Ideally 8 to 10 years’ work experience in airline operations (OCC, Maintenance, Handling or related), consulting firms, or internal strategy functions preferred.

**Competencies**
- Strategic outlook with understanding of competitors, markets and other nuances of the European commercial aviation market - with specific knowledge within the IOCC (integrated operations control space) or day of operation experience.
- Strong communicator and ability to influence leadership.
- Strong command of strategic frameworks including but not limited to SAFE, Agile methods, OGSM and other common strategic business frameworks.
- Strong business acumen, built on experience and exposure of past assignments.
- Understanding of LCC business model, general commercial aviation key performance indicators.
- Plan, organize, and drive own work with mínimal supervision.
- Adaptable to changes in direction or priorities in a dynamic environment.
- Working effectively in a multi-cultural organization.
- Confidence to work with leadership at all levels.
- Properly managing sensitive and confidential information.
- Basic understanding of strategic planning, milestones, value chain and other project portfolio management basics.
- Analytical skills.
- Team player.

**Languages**
- English: C1.
- Spanish fluency is a plus.

**Other**
- Must be able to travel up to 10% of the time, as determined by project needs and the employee's leader.
