Global Sports betting Operator need a strong character to step in as an Environments Team Lead for their Barcelona team on a hybrid basis.

**Main responsibilities**:
To lead the technical team that provides high quality proactive and reactive technical solution support that ensures the accurate and expedient delivery of a fully configured complete set of functioning software environments for internal Derivco Development and Quality Assurance customers, external Affiliates and Operators; maintained to the correct versions as per their individual requirements. This is focused on the provisioning, support and maintenance of environments for internal Derivco Development and Quality Assurance customers, external Affiliates and Operators.
- Runs the Environments Teams board, creating, allocating and maintaining the backlog
- Leads from the front and doesn’t accept the status quo
- Pushes for improvements and development in the Environments
- Develops the Environments Team
- Is the Environments domain expert
- Maintain the single source of truth for Environments

**Desired skills and experience**:

- High level of understanding and knowledge of Information Technology Infrastructure
- Knowledge of system integration and solution architecture development is preferred
- Understanding of Software Development Lifecycles (SDLC).
- Experience working in Customer focused environments
- Excellent communication skills both spoken and written.
- Able to work well under pressure and meet commitments
- MCSE or other applicable advanced certification is advantageous
- Experience in infrastructure management and support (Storage/Networking/Servers/Operating systems/Applications)
- Virtualisation experience in a development environment, preferably with VMware
- Experience with cloud technologies
- Experience administering Windows or Linux Servers
- Scripting Experience - Bash, Powershell or similar equivalents Experience with Gitlab, Bitbucket, Teamcity, Octopus or Knowledge and experience of CICD
- Knowledge of networking, SQL Server, IIS, Microsoft Office SharePoint Services, development with XML, scripting
