**Responsibilities and Duties**
- Program Development
*
- Front Desk - advising students and redirecting student requests to staff
- Reception of student parcels and communication with students
- Provide initial advising to student’s concerns and escalating them appropriately to other CAPA Staff.
- Helping in a variety of administrative tasks and supporting other CAPA Staff Coordinators when required
- Work with CAPA Barcelona Staff on necessary preparations for programs
- Assist with Arrivals and Orientation of new students
- Participation in Orientation activities and presentations
- Student mentoring and engagement for cultural awareness
- Assisting with social media and photography of events in coordination with our Marketing department
- Creation/management/Coordination of the CAPA Monday Memo
Specific support to internship coordinator staff:

- Review and follow-up with required documentation for internships:
- monthly timesheets
- contact details forms
- Introducing information in SF
- Conducting 2 week check in calls
- Market Research: Outreach to potential Internship Sites
Specific support to Housing coordinator staff:
*
- Input and follow up with housing maintenance requests.
- Daily reviewing requests submitted by students in Housing DB
- Working with CAPA Staff & housing providers to resolve maintenance requests
- Communicating with students regarding maintenance requests
- Introducing information in SF
- Check and review housing documentation to guarantee that all required housing documents have been signed, filled out, and submitted by students
- Market Research: Outreach to potential Housing Providers
Specific support to Activities coordinator staff:

- Participate in Semester program planning and creation of Program Calendar & events
- Manage RSVP’s and communicate with IAU staff on shared activities
- Track and monitor student attendance to events, MGC and CAPA activities
- Assist CAPA Staff with reservations and bookings
- Promoting MGC and CAPA activities to students
- Lead and participate student activities and events (travelling both inside and out of Barcelona)
- Plan and promote CAPA Self-Led events around Barcelona including researching new options for students and talking with students to develop new activities/events they may be interested in
- Increase student participation in activities developing connections with host culture of Barcelona

- Assist CAPA Staff with Program calendar schedule

- Create a network of Local Students to engage with CAPA students within activities and Language exchange
**Qualifications**
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent
- +2 years work experience in professional environment
- English and Spanish bilingual. Excellent writing and communication skills is a must.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently, whilst simultaneously working as a part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work well under pressure
- A high level of proficiency in computer software particularly Microsoft Office, Salesforce/CRM, CANVAS/LMS
