As the Web Analytics and Personalization Engineer, you will be at the forefront of transforming how Straumann Group interacts with its customers online. You will implement concepts and tools to provide data-driven insights to create personalized, seamless digital experiences across hundreds of websites spanning multiple countries, languages, and brands. In this role, you will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement strategies that optimize user journeys, enhance engagement, and drive measurable business outcomes. By combining technical expertise, analytical rigor, and a customer-first mindset, you will help shape the future of our digital touchpoints.
**Key Responsibilities**
**Web Analytics & Insights**:
- Create and implement the web analytics technical framework across Straumann Group’s digital platforms using advanced analytics tools
- Develop dashboards and reports to track performance metrics for stakeholders at all levels
**Personalization Strategy & Execution**
- Support design and implementation of personalization strategies using Enterprise CMS and personalization tool
- Collaborate with marketing teams to align personalization initiatives with broader business objectives
**A/B Testing & Experimentation**
- Support A/B testing efforts to evaluate content effectiveness and user experience improvements
- Use statistical methods to analyze test results, identify patterns, and recommend optimization strategies
**Customer Data Management & Integration**
- Work with Customer Data Platforms (CDPs) team to integrate user data for advanced targeting capabilities
- Ensure compliance with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) when collecting and processing user information
**Optimization & Conversion Rate Improvement**
- Continuously monitor website performance metrics to identify opportunities for improvement
- Recommend innovative solutions to enhance user experience across all digital touchpoints while driving conversion rates.
**Qualifications**
- Education in computer science, data analytics, marketing, or a related field
- Experience working in large-scale organizations managing multilingual/multi-brand websites. Start-up or Agency experience is also valuable
- Experience using a CDP such as SAP CDP, Salesforce CDP is a plus
- Knowledge of machine learning or AI-powered personalization techniques is a plus
- A high level of proficiency in English is a must.
**Technical Expertise**
- Proficiency in JavaScript, Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager (GTM), UTM tracking, content tagging. SQL, Python & SEO knowledge is nice to have.
**A/B testing & Personalization**
- Experience using personalization tools such as Kameleoon or Adobe Target and strong understanding of statistical concepts related to A/B testing and multivariate testing.
**Business Acumen**
- Ability to understand and translate Business strategies in technical concepts and projects that drive measurable outcomes.
**Data Privacy Awareness**
- Familiarity with global data privacy regulations (e.g., GDPR/CCPA), cookie management and best practices for ethical data usage.
