Perform and check calculations for simple equipment, and solve problems of basic to moderate engineering complexity
- Review vendor equipment documentation within the discipline and from other disciplines for compliance with project requirements, and actively seek discrepancy resolution
- Develop estimates, schedules, progress reports, and key quantity tracking reports
- Identify deviations in job scope, estimate magnitude of changes, and initiate trends or change orders
- Support estimate activities
- Interface with project disciplines and client representatives
- Develop and build client relations promoting Client Service Excellence
- Participate in activities associated with equipment and material procurement, permitting, and subcontracting
- Assist in the review of vendor lists, preparation of quotation requests, bid tabulations, purchase orders, and considerations for substitutions for technical acceptability
- Analyze and make independent recommendations regarding solutions to problems with varying complexity in accordance with organization and/or project objectives and guidelines
- Organize and prioritize a variety of projects and multiple tasks in an effective and timely manner, set priorities, and meet deadlines
- Plan and organize own work assignments, as well as carry out tasks from management staff
- Prepare/review scopes of work for third party contracts
- Perform control systems sizing calculations for control valves, relief valves, flow elements, thermowells and other instrumentation
- Create instrument index, datasheets and generate reports in Intergraph SmartPlant Instrumentation database
- Develop control systems narrative specifications
- Acquire basic knowledge to develop control systems logic diagrams and/or cause and effect diagrams
- Develop control systems estimates and report on control systems progress
- Background checks are carried out as part of any conditional offer made, including (but not limited to & role dependant) education, professional registration, employment, references, passport verifications and Global Watchlist screening.
- Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located and be able to interview on site., Must be authorized to work in the country where the position is located.

**Basic Job Requirements**
- Bachelor or equivalent in engineering field.
- 5-10 years of relevant working experience
- Ability to communicate effectively in Spanish.
- Intermediate knowledge of:

- Specifying instrumentation
- Control systems procurement activities
- Piping and Instrumentation Diagram (P&ID) representation; ability to recognize/report problems associated with control systems representation on P&ID
- Basic knowledge to develop control strategies and represent on P&ID

**Other Job Requirements**
- Advance level of INTOOLS and/or PRODOK
