**Our client** is a company based in Barcelona that is at the forefront of the energy transition towards a fully renewable future. They specialize in developing innovative energy storage solutions, combining hardware and IT software to optimize the operation of storage systems.

Their mission is to make energy storage reliable and profitable, thereby contributing to a more sustainable world.

We are looking for a **Field Application Engineer** to join the team on a permanent basis at their Barcelona headquarters.

**Your mission?** Work closely with the sales team, customer support, and product development in all technical aspects of battery systems and renewable energies.

**What will you do?**:

- **Pre-sales support**: Provide technical expertise during the pre-sales process. Resolve technical inquiries in collaboration with the product development team.
- **Post-sales support**: Address and resolve customers' technical issues with our client's solutions.
- **Integration process**: Assist in the technical integration of new energy assets into our client’s services, working with project management and product development teams.
- **Internal training**: Conduct workshops to train team members on technical topics such as battery energy storage, renewable energy systems, IT networks, and communication technologies.
- **Project management support**: Help estimate operational costs for service delivery.
- **Collaboration with partners**: Work closely with technical partners for on-site hardware installations, ensuring successful project integration.

**What do you need to succeed in this role?**:

- A bachelor's or master's degree in engineering or a technical field (electrical, mechanical, industrial, manufacturing, or equivalent experience).
- **High level of English is mandatory.** Proficiency in Spanish is highly valued.
- Minimum of **3 years of experience** with large-scale energy storage systems (BESS).
- Expertise in IT networks and control systems for energy assets.
- Experience with solar and wind energy assets is a plus.

**What does the client offer you?**:

- Permanent contract.
- Salary according to your level of experience and technical knowledge.
- Hybrid remote working model (2 days working from home).
- Shorter working hours in August (8 AM - 3 PM); the rest of the year: full-time from Monday to Thursday and shorter hours on Fridays.
