We are expanding our team for testing the satellite system and verifying the ground-space interfaces between the new G2 satellites and future ground stations.

**WHAT CHALLENGE WILL YOU BE TAKING ON?**

In our validation team you will be able to perform tasks such as:

- ** Validation of earth-space interfaces **for Second Generation Galileo satellites.
- Follow up of **subcontractors **activities for test bench integration, ICD review and documentation data packages from design phase to acceptance.
- ** Run RF compatibility tests** using representative satellite equipment.
- ** End-to-end testing** support between the ground segment and the satellite for TM/TC testing.
- Review/write test reports and support verification dashboards with mapping between test procedures and requirements.
- Support investigations of anomalies and fixes of problems in the system and its interfaces.
- Follow up on the design activities and detailed development of the Galileo Ground Control Segment evolutions in the areas of Ground Stations, antenna mechanics, Radio Frequency (RF) and client monitoring and control.

**WHAT DO WE NEED IN OUR TEAM?**

For this position, we are looking for engineers with experience in the field of satellite communication, RF testing and subsystem integration verification and validation activities and:

- High level of **English **(C1)
- Make/**review link budgets for satellite/terrestrial stations.**:

- ** RF measurements for remote control**, telemetry and telemetry in spread spectrum and other modes, CCSDS standards, modulation schemes, coding and TRANSEC security protocols.
- Practical experience **validating ground station operating systems**, including generation of test plans, test specifications/procedures, and test reports
- S**atellite operational validation tests and RF test campaigns**.
- Knowledge of TT&C baseband equipment and SLE protocol

We will also value knowledge in:

- Familiarization with the use of Satellite RF cases.
- Technical training in large antennas and tracking subsystems for MEO satellites, and V&V of ground stations.
- Experience characterizing/testing ground station receivers/modems.
- EGSE/SCOE equipment and testing at satellite manufacturer sites
- End-to-end testing and PUS services
- SSVT campaigns
- Monitoring and control systems for ground stations/monitoring subsystems
- Configuration control and familiarity with Galileo standards and documentation procedures would be valuable
- Available to travel in Europe and may eventually support the TTCF team in the deployment of ground stations in the French overseas territories.
