We are now recruiting a **Resort General Manager** to lead the resort’s opening and ongoing operations. This is a rare and career-defining opportunity for a dynamic hospitality leader to shape the strategic vision, team culture, and brand delivery of a flagship luxury property.

**Position Overview**

The **Resort General Manager** will be the driving force behind all aspects of the resort’s success—from pre-opening planning through to long-term operational excellence. This individual will serve as brand ambassador, commercial strategist, and team leader, responsible for delivering elevated guest satisfaction, operational efficiency, and sustained financial growth.

**Key Responsibilities - Pre-Opening Leadership**
- Lead the resort’s opening strategy and critical path in collaboration with ownership, design, operations, and pre-opening task force teams.
- Recruit, onboard, and train a high-performing executive team across all departments.
- Ensure licensing, regulatory compliance, and brand standards are met in full prior to opening.

**Operational Excellence**
- Oversee daily operations across rooms, F&B, wellness, events, and engineering to ensure smooth, guest-focused delivery.
- Champion Zest’s service culture, environmental responsibility, and reputation for understated luxury.
- Monitor and manage service KPIs, online reputation scores, and guest feedback platforms.

**Commercial & Financial Management**
- Drive profitability through smart forecasting, cost control, revenue strategy, and asset protection.
- Work closely with Sales, Marketing, and Revenue to achieve rate, occupancy, and market positioning goals.
- Prepare and deliver detailed monthly performance reports, business plans, and operating budgets.

**Team Leadership & Culture**
- Foster a high-performance culture built on empowerment, coaching, and wellbeing.
- Lead succession planning, team development, and internal recognition programmes.
- Promote diversity, inclusion, and local community engagement.

**Brand & Stakeholder Relation**s
- Serve as the face of Zest Resort with key guests, corporate partners, media, and local authorities.
- Collaborate with owners and Schulte Hospitality to ensure standards and values are represented locally.
- Develop strong, mutually beneficial relationships with Ibiza tourism, government, and community bodies.

Essential Qualifications & Experience:

- Minimum 10 years' experience in luxury hotel/resort management, including 3-5 years as General Manager.
- Demonstrable experience in pre-opening or repositioning luxury lifestyle or wellness properties.
- Strong commercial acumen with P&L responsibility and team leadership across multiple disciplines.
- Fluent in English and Spanish; additional languages an advantage.
