**Business Head/ Chief Operating Officer (COO) - ESG**

**About Us**: Azeus is a leading IT services provider, renowned for delivering high-quality software solutions to global clients. We are launching an innovative product focused on Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) compliance and management, aimed at helping businesses meet their ESG goals while driving sustainability and transparency. We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Chief Operating Officer (COO) with a strong background in the IT industry and startup experience to lead this new venture.
**Position Overview**: As the COO - ESG at Azeus, you will be responsible for the operational strategy, growth, and execution of our new ESG product. This role requires an experienced leader with a solid background in IT, preferably with exposure to ESG, who can build and scale the business from scratch in a competitive market.

Key Responsibilities:
**Strategic Planning**:Develop and execute the operational strategy for the ESG product, ensuring alignment with Azeus’s overall business goals.

**Business Development**: Identify and capitalize on market opportunities, drive go-to market strategies, and establish key partnerships to fuel business growth.

**Product Development**:Collaborate with product and engineering teams to define product requirements, oversee development, and ensure the product meets market needs**.**

**Operational Leadership**: Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and operational excellence.

**Financial Management**:Oversee budgeting, financial planning, and resource allocation to drive efficiency and meet financial objectives.

**Customer Engagement**: Engage with clients to understand their needs, gather feedback, and ensure the product delivers exceptional value.

**Risk Management**:Identify and mitigate operational risks associated with launching and scaling the product.

**Regulatory Compliance**: Ensure the product adheres to relevant regulations and standards, particularly in the ESG domain.

**Qualifications**:
**Experience**:10+ years of experience in a senior leadership role within the IT industry, with a focus on operations, product management, or business development. Previous experience in startups or building new business units from scratch is essential.

**IT Industry Expertise**: Proven track record in the IT sector, with a deep understanding of software development, market trends, and technology-driven business models.

**ESG Knowledge**:Understanding of ESG principles and market trends is preferred, but not mandatory.

**Leadership**: Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performing teams in a fast paced environment.

**Entrepreneurial Mindset**:Strategic thinker with a hands-on approach to execution.

**Communication**: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage and influence stakeholders at all levels.

**Financial Acumen**:Expertise in financial management, including budgeting, forecasting, and P&L oversight.

**Education**: Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, or a related field. An MBA or equivalent advanced degree is preferred.
