Huboo have a fantastic opportunity to join the Finance team, working from our Madrid office. This position will suit a bilingual Spanish/English qualified finance professional. Occasional travel to the UK may be required.

Huboo are a technology led ecommerce fulfilment company, focused on helping online sellers grow their business by providing global fulfilment, we are VC funded and continue to grow at a rapid pace.

**The role**:
Key responsibilities for the Finance Manager:

- Ensuring management accounts are prepared in line with our month end reporting cycle
- Managing supplier payments
- Ensuring customers are invoiced accurately and pay on time
- Collecting and interpreting financial information
- Providing payroll support to the group payroll manager
- Working with outsourced payroll provider to ensure country payroll correct
- Managing budgets
- Providing financial reports (expenses, account payables, account receivables, etc)
- Finding cost reduction opportunities
- Manage the country finance team
- Managing relationships with external advisors

Focus areas:

- Ensure compliance with all statutory filing obligations e.g. accounts, tax returns, payroll filings etc.
- Timely and accurate preparation of month end reporting packs
- Integrate data from warehouse systems with finance system to ensure accurate financial reporting
- Make sure courier costs are accurately booked in the period they relate to
- Provide monthly analysis of budget to actual variances

**Requirements**:

- CIMA/ACCA/ACA qualification or similar
- Experience in local country finance laws
- Local statutory filing experience
- The ability to work independently
- Confidence and resolve to hold processes and procedures in place
- Excellent attention to detail
- Leadership experience
- Risk management skills (cashflow mismatches, credit risks, interest rate risks, etc)
- Experience of local country audit regulations
- Previous experience of managing the month end process
- A/P and A/R experience
- Experience of working across multiple countries
- Strong IT skills including advanced excel, finance software (cloud-based system e.g. Xero/SAP ByDesign beneficial)
- Collaborated to improve processes and procedures to ensure maximum efficiency

Founded in 2017, Huboo was created by e-commerce sellers for e-commerce sellers. Martin Bysh (CEO) and Paul Dodd (CTO) found that the demands and struggles that came with picking, packing, and shipping their products was becoming impossible.
