North Search, a pioneering global talent consultancy specializing in recruitment for evolving industries, is currently seeking a dynamic and strategic **_Medical Affairs Manager_** for our client, a renowned entity in the pharmaceutical sector undergoing significant growth and transformation focused on the treatment of impact disorders. This role is crucial for spearheading scientific initiatives and building robust relationships with key opinion leaders in the medical community.

**Your Role and Mission**

As the Medical Manager, you will play a pivotal role in leading a team of Medical professionals to deliver scientific excellence and drive thought leadership. Your mission will be to develop and implement strategies that enhance scientific engagement, foster collaborative relationships with healthcare professionals, and support the successful launch of innovative therapies.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Develop and execute medical engagement strategies to support product launches and ongoing medical education initiatives.
- Lead and mentor a team of medical professionals, setting objectives, monitoring performance, and encouraging professional development.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including clinical development and marketing, to ensure alignment on scientific messaging and strategies.
- Identify, develop, and maintain relationships with key opinion leaders, healthcare professionals, and academic centers.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company policies in all scientific communications and interactions.
- Keep abreast of industry trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes to adapt strategies accordingly.

**Skills and Knowledge**:

- A Doctorate (PhD, MD, PharmD) in a life sciences or medical field.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in the pharmaceutical industry, with a solid track record in MSL management or related roles.
- Exceptional leadership and team management skills.
- Strong scientific acumen with the ability to translate complex scientific concepts into clear, strategic messages.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills, with proficiency in building relationships with medical experts and stakeholders.
- Knowledgeable in drug development and regulatory requirements related to medical affairs.
- Language proficiency in Spanish is a must; English in a fluent level.
