Project Manager - Data Centres - Contract - Madrid
Our client, a developer of multi-customer and hyperscale data centres in Europe and Asia-Pacific, have an exciting opportunity for a Project Manager to join their current project in the Netherlands. They have a strong portfolio of constructing world-class critical infrastructure and are chosen time and again for their resilient power and colling, robust securing and sophisticated monitoring systems.
**Project Manager Responsibilities**:
Ensure the use of ‘project management systems, procedures and processes to ensure that external consultants and the internal team interface in the successful completion of the project.
Ensure policies and procedures are fully flowed in respect of change management, site access and timely availability of document for risk assessment and planned works
Maintaining a strong focus on contractor management and performance, establishing, and managing relationships with key stakeholders
Prepare project budgets, including documents for tender and negotiations with all internal and external stakeholders.
Prepare RFAs for each project
Evaluate job specifications to determine appropriate construction methods and cost-effectiveness of plans
**About you**:
Relevant engineering degree
Spanish speaking (highly preferred)
7 years + experience in a related role
Data Centre or critical infrastructure experience
Able to relate well to key project stakeholders internally and externally
Holds a strong level of attention to detail.
