**Assistant Financial Controller**
- Contrato sustitución temporal
- Processing client direct debits in accordance with agreed credit terms.
- Daily review of bank account receipts and cancelled direct debits for sales ledger maintenance.
- Processing weekly payment runs in accordance with cash flow forecast.
- Process monthly credit returns to clients by bank transfer.
- Support to Administration team in client incidents.
- Control of overdue debt via various collection
procedures liaising with Credit Control clerk.
- Review of client credit limits and credit
- Review and maintain the Sales Ledger and
periodic reconciliations to the Nominal ledger
control accounts.
- Preparation of schedule for the provision for
doubtful debts for review by FD.
- Maintenance of Fixed Assets Register.
- Review and journal postings of monthly accruals
and prepayments.
- Preparation of client rebates and monthly journals.
- Calculation and posting of Sales team incentives
accrual.
- Cash Receipts forecasting - weekly Cash Flow
reporting to Group and analysis of variances.
- SII reconciliation (VAT obligations)
- Month-end duties in conjunction with FC to support
timely production of management accounts - fixed assets, prepayments, accruals, rebates NL analysis and review, control account reconciliations.
- Balance sheet analysis and review of variances.
- P&L analysis and review of variances.
- Liaise with external and internal auditors in relation
to audit of statutory financial statements and ensuring corporate compliance and strong internal controls within SOX environment.
A professional accountancy qualification and previous audit experience would be an
advantage. Also knowledge in Microsoft Dynamics ERP.
For this role you will be a self-starter with the ability to manage time effectively and prioritise, you will be competent in the use of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel,.
You will possess strong communication skills with the ability to work in a small team as well as liaising with multiple people across the organisation.
Our working languages are English, to liaise with UK and US Group colleagues, and Spanish in many of our daily local operations across internal teams and third parties.
