Agile Change Manager

The Alpega Group is looking fo an Efficiency & Agile Manager. This role will be part of the IT organization at Alpega. **This position will be based in Barcelona, Spain.**

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Engineering Efficiency Lead to join our team. As an Engineering Efficiency Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing agile-related topics, ensuring continuous improvements are implemented, and leading initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency. You will be part of a collaborative team of three Engineering Efficiency Leads, working closely together to drive our engineering practices forward. In this role you will directly influence the engineering department’s ability to deliver faster, more efficiently, and with higher quality, driving the company’s growth.

**ABOUT THE ROLE**
- Lead initiatives to enhance engineering efficiency and productivity.
- Implement and monitor continuous improvement processes.
- Collaborate with other Engineering Efficiency Leads to ensure cohesive and effective practices. In close collaboration with your team, you will roll out and scale agile methods and principles in parts of the organization and continuously optimize them.
- Effectively identify and implement improvements in our Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC).
- Act as a key driver for cross-functional topics, taking on the role of Project Manager to ensure successful outcomes.
- Organize and lead cross-departmental and cross-functional meetings, workshops and coaching, ensuring effective communication and reporting.
- Facilitate retrospectives and continuous improvement initiatives to enhance team productivity, reduce bottlenecks, and promote efficient workflows.
- Provide guidance and support to the engineering team on agile methodologies. Embrace the agile principles of Inspect, Adapt, and Transparency to drive ongoing improvements and encourage a culture of empirical focus and best practices.

**WHAT WE LOOK FOR IN YOU**:
**Hard Skills**

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations or equivalent education or experience required.
- **English proficiency is mandatory**(Please, send your resume in English.)
- Proven experience in software engineering and a strong understanding of agile methodologies and practices.
- Demonstrated leadership abilities with excellent team collaboration skills and a track record of driving continuous improvement initiatives.
- Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage with developers, software architects, and cross-functional teams.
- Experience working with cross-functional and distributed teams in a tech company setting.
- Proficiency in engineering efficiency tools, with expertise in JIRA or similar planning and tracking tools.
- Technical knowledge, with the ability to quickly grasp complex concepts and communicate effectively on technical topics.

**Soft Skills**
- Certification in agile methodologies (e.g., Scrum Master, Agile Coach) is highly desirable.
- Experience in change management.
- Familiarity with scaled agile practices in large organizations.
- Experience with continuous delivery pipelines and cloud deployments.
- Background as a software engineer to enhance understanding of technical challenges.
