Data Analyst

Job Purpose:
As Data Analyst you will be part of our Group Sales Operations Department that provides Operational support to the Group Sales teams and provides the critical link between sales, Senior Business leaders, and finance.

This role will primarily revolve around the group sales teams being responsible for fulfilling diversified data requests related to our operations.

In order to success, you should have experience manipulating and analyzing large data sets. Being responsible for providing new insights which will consequently impact business decisions and you should be comfortable extracting meaning from and interpreting data.

You will work closely with senior business leaders to partner on KPIs and Business Unit metrics throughout the month, examining and maintaining key areas of forecasting and reporting to help drive and deliver business growth.

Job Overview:
**Key Responsibilities**
- Build strong stakeholder relationships in order to understand business challenges and collaboratively define and document precise business requirements for specific projects.
- Design, develop, model, and create data structures to integrate, prepare, and generate reports.
- Develop and build dashboards and visualizations in Sisense and Salesforce.
- Work with the Business to ensure they can utilize the output of your projects to enable data-driven decisions.
- Monitor KPIs and identify patterns, trends, outliers, and opportunities in the data, providing updates to the Divisional Presidents, Business Unit Leaders, and other senior stakeholders
- Owner of the forecasting process and all data around forecasting, including examining trends and guiding improvements to process and data visualization
- Be a thought leader and strategic thinker - always looking for ways to improve the reporting data to provide valuable insight into the productivity of the sales organization, finding improvements Relentlessly seek out root cause problems and address them to evolve and improve business processes Thrive on curiosity around data
-explore data trends in depth, and be able to summarize findings & recommendations succinctly to audiences across the business

**Skills & Experience**
- 2-4 years of experience in a data/analytics role.
- Strong presentation skills and an ability to communicate complex findings to non-technical audiences in a clear, simple way, both written and verbal.
- Ability to contribute both independently and as part of a team.
- Highly numerate with excellent attention to detail
- Fast learner with a proactive attitude
- Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Excellent time management and deadline oriented
- Previous experience in a fast paced, sales orientated company
- Strong facilitation and influencing skills
