**What will you be doing?**

You will be working in a data analysis team with other developers as a scrum team we have with this UK client. You will principally be working as a data analyst writing SQL queries in Snowflake summarizing data from disparate sources.

**Responsibilities**

You will help maintain standards and quality criteria for data integration flows, meaning that you deliver a valuable and secure solution to the customer, whilst also maximising repeatability and maintainability.

Building efficient data flows - Qualitive and insightful data visualisations are drawn from various sources. You will pick the appropriate delivery method and internal transformations, so the data is in the most efficient and effective format ready for Tableau consumption.

Proactive and independent - The client is looking for team members that can work with some level of autonomy, trusting that they will make the right decision when it comes to how they implement the data flows required.

Customers data processes - To understand a retailer's data, you need to understand or be willing to learn the underlying business processes that produce this data. For example, how to join product sales to product complaints and how to the complaints data is created in the customer’s call centre.

**Skills and experience**

**In a perfect world, you have**:

- Experience delivering database changes, most likely using SQL
- A good knowledge of SQL best practises and efficiencies
- Excellent attention to detail
- Willingness to learn quickly and develop themselves within data analytics
- Ability to understand and then articulate complex scenarios in a simple way, both verbally and written word

**And we would be really thrilled if you also have**:

- Peer-review led quality control process (preferably using GitHub)
- Working within a fast-paced environment with some level of independence
- Visualising data using a BI tool (preferably Tableau)
- Experience with Snowflake
- Developing ETL processes
- Scripting (Loading SQL scripts and maintaining)
- An understanding of APIs
