**About the role**:
**What you can expect to do in the role**:
Key Responsibilities:

- Supporting the day-to-day financial operations of the companies of the Group and following up with internal and external stakeholders
- Handling the group’s companies’ accounts (Luxembourgish and Spanish GAAP) and including day‐to‐day bookkeeping in Odoo (accounting software)
- Ensuring all company accounts are accurately reconciled
- Maintaining and updating fixed asset records
- Handling bank accounts and contacts with the bank
- Processing payments and preparing bank transfers
- Preparing bank reconciliations
- Supporting the cash analysis report preparation and the preparation of cash flow analyses
- Preparing financial statements and consolidated accounts for monthly review under supervision of the Senior Accountant
- Supporting the general company administration including eCDF, e-RCS, VAT & CIT filings
- Supporting the review of tax returns and tax balances and maintaining relevant contacts with the tax authorities;
- Ensuring all tax records are correct and up to date
- Assisting in both internal and external company audits
- Assisting in quarterly reviews year-end progress reports
- Participating in financial projects when required
- Assuming additional responsibilities as delegated by the supervisor

Must-Have Experience / Qualifications:

- Degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, Business Administration or equivalent
- You have a professional experience of more than 2 years in Accounting or Audit
- You are familiar with Spanish GAAP and Luxembourg GAAP or a high motivation to acquire the necessary knowledge fast)
- You have working knowledge of accounting systems
- Spanish: fluent level (spoken and written)
- English: fluent level (spoken and written)

Preferred Qualifications:

- Working knowledge of Odoo (accounting system) or a high motivation to acquire the knowledge fast
- Proficient in the use of the Google Suite (Sheets, Docs, etc.)
