Quality Assurance Engineer

Tasks
- You will conduct functional, regression, integration, performance and user acceptance testing.
- You will identify and report defects and issues while working collaboratively with the development team to ensure timely resolution of issues.
- You will design and develop automated test scripts to improve efficiency in testing processes.
- You will participate in design and code reviews to provide QA perspective.
- You will contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
- You will update and maintain documentation related to testing processes, test cases and bug reports.
- In collaboration with our Engineering team, we would train you on automated testing using frameworks such as Selenium or Cypress.
- You won’t just test and pick the next task from your team’s board, but understand the user pain points and business needs to ensure a high product-market-fit.
**Requirements**:
- This position requires at least 2 years of relevant experience in software testing or quality assurance.
- You should desire a strong understanding of software development principles and methodologies.
- You should have the ability to work independently with mínimal supervision, as well as in a team environment.
- You should have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
- We prefer a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- We need someone with an outstanding communication skill. Fluency in Spanish & English (our company language), both written and spoken is required.
- You bring experience in start-up environments.
- You should be open-minded towards change and understanding the concept behind continuous improvement a.k.a “kaizen”.
- You should be ready to work in an international environment with talents from different backgrounds and cultures.
