Axis Data Axis Data S.L. is an international enterprise providing IT Services to MTS Globe and OTS Globe, which consist of Office Automation systems, Networking and Applications. Our mission statement is to provide innovative technology to the MTS Globe Group's 66 destination offices in 22 countries in and around the Mediterranean Sea, North Africa, the Black Sea, the Arabian Gulf, the Atlantic Ocean and the Gulf of Mexico. 6,3 million guests were managed through our systems in 2018. Job description We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to lead one of our development teams in Palma de Mallorca. This role is ideal for someone with advanced technical proficiency in Java microservices (Spring Boot) and outstanding communication abilities to bridge technical and business domains. Key Responsibilities: Technical Leadership Lead and coordinate the development team, focusing on provider integration projects built with Java microservices and Spring Boot, driving best practices in design, implementation, and deployment. Mentor the team, promoting growth, accountability, and a positive team culture. Design, implement, and optimize scalable, maintainable solutions using microservices architecture. Ensure adherence to best practices, company policies, and quality standards throughout the development cycle. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to delivery and post-launch support. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify optimal solutions. Promote an agile and proactive approach to problem-solving and continous improvement. Business & Management Communication: Serve as the primary technical liaison between development team, business stakeholders and management, translating business needs into robust technical solutions. Communicate project status, technical concepts, and challenges clearly to management and non-technical audiences, ensuring transparency and alignment. Define and communicate roles and responsibilities for project team members, ensuring alignment with business objectives. Influence and negotiate with internal and external parties, leveraging strong communication and diplomacy skills to achieve project objectives. Why Join Us? Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to business and management audiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish or German is a plus). Experience in reservation system development projects within the tourism sector is highly valued.
