Job Description We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to lead one of our development teams in Palma de Mallorca. This role will focus on Java microservices (Spring Boot) and bridge technical and business domains. Key Responsibilities Technical Leadership Lead and coordinate the development team on provider integration projects built with Java microservices and Spring Boot, driving best practices in design, implementation, and deployment. Mentor the team, promoting growth, accountability, and a positive team culture. Design, implement, and optimize scalable, maintainable solutions using microservices architecture, ensuring adherence to best practices and quality standards. Oversee the entire software development lifecycle, from planning and resource allocation to delivery and post‑launch support. Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues, collaborating with cross‑functional teams to identify optimal solutions and promote an agile, proactive approach to problem‑solving and continuous improvement. Business & Management Communication Serve as the primary technical liaison between the development team, business stakeholders, and management, translating business needs into robust technical solutions. Communicate project status, technical concepts, and challenges clearly to non‑technical audiences, ensuring transparency and alignment. Define and communicate roles and responsibilities for project team members, aligning with business objectives. Influence and negotiate with internal and external parties, leveraging strong communication and diplomacy skills to achieve project objectives. Why Join Us? Requirements Minimum five years of experience in software engineering and team management. Advanced expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Kubernetes, and microservices architecture. Proven ability to communicate complex technical topics to business and management audiences. Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (Spanish or German is a plus). Experience in reservation system development projects within the tourism sector is highly valued.
