**Job Purpose/Summary**
- The V&A Manager is a key role in the successful launch of a pharmaceutical product in a dedicated market. In today’s regulatory environment, it is critical, now more than ever, to demonstrate that in addition to the therapeutic value of the product (proven safety and efficacy), the product encompasses a substantial cost-effectiveness value. The company (sponsor) must demonstrate the products’ beneficial impact on the healthcare system and resource utilization in the sense that burden is reduced, patient outcomes are improved and cost is minimized.
- The V&A Manager leads and supports the strategy and activities that are needed to demonstrate and communicate this information to the different HTA bodies (as well as different/other payers settings and stakeholders). The V&A Manager works across all developmental stages of the product and leads the value story of the product by different tools, from creation of a landscape report, value strategies, evidence plan, evidence strategy and collection, pricing and reimbursement strategy and submissions, building the value proposition of the product, creating the global value dossier as well as developing the optimal pharma economic endpoints for a successful clinical development that will be positively reviewed and acknowledged by payers. The V&A Manager also incorporates Health Economics and Outcomes Research (HEOR) activities, including review and preparation of relevant models that support the evaluation of the product by the Health Technology Assessment Body (HTA) in the specific territory.

**What You’ll Do**
- Manages, leads and supports all Value & Access activities for a pharmaceutical client. This includes both managerial and operational work of the following activities in different stages of product development:

- Landscape analysis and report
- Research and interviews with payers for feedback/ value drivers/ key messages to support market access strategy
- Reimbursement landscape assessment report
- Review and analyze healthcare policy reports
- Value strategy, value proposition / story and value plan
- Compiling a global value dossier
- Evidence collection strategy and plan
- Preparation of market access plan
- National HTA submissions including Pricing and reimbursement submissions
- Analyzing and compiling product reimbursement strategy/forecast
- Analyzing and compiling pricing strategy/forecast
- Write and review pricing models
- Review, analyze and plan pharma economic endpoints in clinical development
- Extract info from scientific publications, regulatory guidances to support V&A activities.
- Detect and analyze relevant HTA legislation in the EU/ target territories
- Participates in internal or client launch meetings
- Attend relevant meeting and conferences
- Support BD team in meetings with clients, F2F or in TCs.
- Assist to in preparing BD materials

**What You Bring**
- At least 5 years of experience in the field of Value and Access within the pharmaceutical industry.
- Bachelor degree in Health Sciences or a closely related discipline. Preferred: Master’s Degree in Business Administration, Public Health, Health Economics or Health Policy
- Strong knowledge of the local HTA systems in Europe and proficiency in pharma industry.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, written and oral.
- Strong interpersonal skills for positive and fruitful working relationship with colleagues and clients.
- Rare disease experience is desirable.
- Work across different business teams.
- Able to work with a tight deadline.
- Strong sense of teamwork.
- proficiency in English. Written and spoken.
- Excellent computer skills.
