**Job Purpose**:
- Work in tandem with our engineering, architecture, DevOps, Security and Development teams to identify and implement the most optimal cloud-based solutions for the company.
- Managing cloud environments in accordance with company security guidelines
- Patching and Upgrades for infrastructure and OS.
**Responsibilities**:
- Cloud operations - Proactive maintenance of Microsoft Azure and AWS environments, Identify areas of concern, and improve platform where possible (20%)
- Infrastructure as code - Terraform and Ansible (30%)
- Security, Cost and Performance optimization of AWS and Azure environments (5%)
- Problem management & General troubleshooting (10%)
- Support Architect to create/deploy solution architecture (20%)
- Design and project work (15%)
**Knowledge, Skills and Experience**:
- 3 to 5 Years of relevant work experience.
- Associate Degree with computer science or Related field of study required.
- Other Education / Certifications: Windows Server, Public cloud certifications, ITIL Foundation, LPIC1, HashiCorp Certified: Terraform Associate, AWS Certified Developer - Associate.
- Experience working in cloud, designing, developing, and implementing cloud solutions on AWS | Azure | GCP platforms.
- Experience in several of the following areas: cloud compute, cloud storage, cloud networking, cloud governance, cloud security and cloud operations.
- AWS, Azure, GCP certifications are a plus.
- Terraform - Desired foundations and hands on working with terraform
- Ansible - Desired foundations and hands on working with ansible playbooks and CI/CD configuration management.
- Linux Sysadmin Skills in cloud environments (RHEL or Debian)
- Windows Sysadmin skills
- English.
**Working Conditions**:
- Consistent non-standard work or overtime as business requires.
- On-call availability required as necessary.
- Professional, office environment.
- Some travel required.
