**DESCRIPTION**

The Business Analyst main role is to link between Business representatives and Technical teams to help businesses implement and deploy solutions in a cost-effective way by analysing, defining and documenting the technical / functional requirements fulfilling business needs. To meet functional requirements, he / she designs and proposes solutions, validates technical specifications, and ensure that the solution answers business needs. The Business Analyst provides functional support for the solution.

The Business Analyst will be the designated partner of the Product Owner in order to actively support the construction and implementation of AXA Partners Solutions. In particular in the construction and maintenance of the backlog (including definition of done and acceptance criteria )

DIMENSIONS OF ROLE

AXA Assistance aims at becoming AXA Group preferred networks & service company and a powerhouse for partnerships development as a founding entity of AXA Partners. A key enabler for this business transformation (with key topics on offer, distribution, operations and network management) will be a local IT able to endorse a business-oriented role to capture local business needs reactively and propose suitable IT solutions (evolutions or projects), in close coordination with the Regional Solution Delivery team.

He/she facilitates communication between an organization’s business systems user community and its technology solutions development community to enhance systems quality, efficiency, effectiveness and profitability.

The IT Business Analyst ensures that the business needs are properly modelled, analysed and are correctly reflected. He/she will supervise the Local IT team to generate the solution that matches Business needs.

In partnership with Project Manager’s, Business and Product Owners, the role holder ensure delivery expectations are respected (On Time, On Business, On Scope, On Quality)

The role scope includes a systems development aspect, in addition to other non-IT areas such as process improvement, strategic planning and policy development.

The mission of his/her team encompass a large variety of activities: collection and analysis of user requirements, functional (analytical) and technical solution design, process modelling, incident assessment, communication and cooperation with customer and supplier, analysis of technology requirements, project implementation.

The role holder will support the entire lifecycle of selected systems - contribution to the Business Case, functional inception, testing, release, monitoring, providing consultation and advice, user training, IT operations execution, creation and maintenance of functional documentation.

Key dimensions of the job:

- Gather, explain, document, clarify and analyse business needs and requirements.
- Analyse and design business process. Review documented business processes.
- Produce functional and, sometimes technical specifications in coordination with the matter experts.
- Contribute to lead Agile creation and maintenance of product Backlog.
- An average of 4 projects per year.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Accompany the users in the day to day use of IT tools & process
- Capture the needs of improvement of tools & process, requiring evolutions or new solutions
- Analyse client requirements and process functional design (FD) - analytical foundations for development
- Share with the client, sponsor to shape the system requirements and validate proposals and functional design
- Understanding of business process and organization challenges.
- Participate to analyse and design business process. Review documented business processes.
- Update of process analysis based on defect impact
- Contribute to the preparation of test documentation and execution of tests
- Analyse the development and production errors
- Liaise with developers, testers, as member of a synergistic team
- Contribute to the project team beside the project manager (project requiring IT solutions or not)
- The Business Analyst may have to, based on his seniority, handle project management activities including proper customer communication and reporting and lead the effort instead of being only a participant.
- In coordination with the Local CISO/Regional CISO, conduct all activities in line with Group Security policies, promote Group security standards and be proactive in the remediation of all vulnerabilities or issues
- Contribute to define the local IT roadmap supporting the local business strategy

- Ability to manage, organise, and hold to account external vendors and business partners.

**Technical skills and experience**:

- +5 years of experience as an Business analyst or Senior Software Arc
