**What You Can Expect**:
The IT Senior Business Analyst plays an important role in IT demand team. Together with the IT EMEA Leader Sales Region DACH, ZBI, Legal, Compliance and ZBEdge, he/she acts as critical link between IT and multiple commercial and supporting functions that are:

- Sales Region DACH (Supporting countries Germany, Austria & Switzerland)
- Zimmer Biomet Institute (Medical Education)
- Legal
- Compliance
- ZBEdge (Robotics, Technology & Data Solutions, Global Service)

The Senior Business Analyst will be instrumental in identifying new business opportunities, understanding business requirements, translating them into suitable IT solutions, prioritizing these demands and then passing them to IT delivery teams.

The IT Senior Business Analyst role supports IT EMEA Leader Sales Region DACH, ZBI, Legal, Compliance and ZBEdge in IT PMO process which includes demand intake, feasibility studies, project execution and project reporting process. At the same time, he/she manages the medium size demands and projects and tracks their status.

The IT Senior Business Analyst is also point of contact between IT and above mentioned functions in terms of escalation and inquiry.

The Senior Business Analyst will have level Z11 and will report within the EMEA IT Organization.

**How You Create Impact**:

- Enables the supported functions to get more effective, efficient and grow business through use of Technology
- Identifies opportunities for digitization and harmonization and agrees with the stakeholders on priority for implementation
- Analyse the new business requirements and translate them into IT solution, with understanding of integration across all functions.
- Partners with customer to prioritize the new demands
- Drive the demand assessment and approval process based on given priority.
- Track implementation status of approved demands and escalate when needed.
- Works closely with SAP CoE and other delivery teams to ensure the best practice and support on high complexity tasks and facilitate the engagement during User Acceptance Test
- For large demands, support the IT EMEA Leader Sales Region DACH, ZBI, Legal, Compliance and ZBEdge in project initiation to prepare feasibility study and approval processes.
- Take the project manager role for the project assigned, manage the planning, execution, communication and reporting of the project.
- Follow global PMO process when managing the projects assigned in PlanView, prepare all PMO deliverables and organize the approvals, stage gate reviews and status reports.
- Act as the single point of contact between the supported functions and IT when it comes to escalation of problems and issues
- Proactively enforces worldwide and local security policies to ensure IT information assets are protected

**What Will Make You Stand Out**:

- B.S. degree in computer science or business information systems with over 5 years of work experience.
- Is experienced in requirements engineering to align the requesting function and delivering IT team.

- Has strong analytical skills to be able to quickly identify underlying problems and design solutions to these problems
- Understands business processes in a commercial organization and can develop process improvements
- Has demonstrable extensive experience in managing remote resources and activities
- Strong communication skills in both face-to-face and virtual settings
- Good documentation and writing skill
- Has good project management skill (PMP Certification plus) and works in a structured way
- Builds and maintains strong relationships with functional stakeholders on all levels
- Can work independently, set the right priorities and is a self-starter
- Is flexible in mind and willing to continuous learn requirements of other functional areas
- Is a team player, facilitates and stimulates teamwork
- SAP Sales & Distribution knowledge is a plus
- Is aware of the legal requirements and corporate guidelines with respect to system validation for, e.g., FDA. TüV, SOX, etc.
