We are looking for a strong leader of people, processes, and projects to become the next Director of Europe HR Services at Agilent. We have great team that includes seasoned professionals to new hires, and we want someone who can lead this team to develop their skills, knowledge and abilities to deliver a wide array of HR services, from contract creation to payroll and timekeeping for over 4500 employees across the 15 countries where Agilent currently has employees in our Europe and Middle East and Africa (EMEA) region. Specific HR services vary by country.

Teamwork and strong written and verbal communication skills are key. The Europe HR Service director:

- Collaborates with team members, internal partners and vendors to align on expectations and achieve shared goals
- Creates an environment that supports smooth and efficient business operations
- Establishes business controls to prevent errors or quickly detects and corrects errors, and
- Ensures employees and managers receive prompt service and accurate and timely results

With much of payroll and benefits outsourced, vendor management experience is a must, including:

- Development and management to clear service levels
- Negotiation of contracts and fees, and
- Establishment and verification of standards for business controls, security and data privacy.

As the Europe HR services leader, it is critical that this person have solid people and organization management skills, which includes:

- Setting overall business plans and direction in the context of Agilent HR priorities, budgets, and compliance requirements
- Defining the job requirements, skills and career development paths available in Europe HR services, and
- Ensuring alignment both within the organization, and with key partners.

Here is your opportunity to put your 6+ years of practical experience (3+ years of which are relevant experience) and strong management ability to work in a dynamic and progressive environment. This is where your people skills, technical knowledge and influential leadership ability will really make an impact.
- Bachelors or Master Degree or University Degree or equivalent plus typically 5 years of relevant experience as a first level and second level manager. Specialty in Human Resources and/or Finance preferred
- Demonstrate strong management and leadership skills in implementing program/organization strategies.
- Excellent written and verbal communication and collaboration skills, in both English and at least one local language.
- Experience with process improvement efforts, ideally with specific methodologies such as Six Sigma.
- Experience managing projects with common tools to track progress on schedules, issues, and dependencies.
- Strong sense of commitment and urgency to meet tight project and production deadlines.
- Preference for experience with people management in an operational environment, including tracking service levels, activity volumes and quality metrics.
- Solid numerical, troubleshooting and system skills, especially with Excel and Payroll/Accounting systems.
- Ideally, the person filling this role has experience across multiple European countries, with a multinational company.
