Claims Expert

Nationale Nederlanden Oxygen is a subsidiary company of Nationale Nederlanden Group located in Madrid, Spain.

Our main objective is to create, deliver and maintain insurance product management solutions, as service propositions to enable any agent (linked or direct), machine or company to create and sell insurance products in Europe in an automated way and real time.

We deliver IT services and solutions for the different international Business Units from Nationale Nederlanden Group

On this occasion, we offer an indefinite contract of Claims Expert/Configurator in the Information Technologies area. We provide you with the following information:
What is the purpose/mission of the position?
- Analyze business requirements (functional and non-functional), transforming them into technical solution proposals based on the capabilities of our platform.
- The main objective is to create digital, innovative, standard, efficient, simple claims/UW processes and services that add value to our clients.
- Claims expert will work continuously with technicians, architect, configurators, process experts, product owners to maintain a logical structure in our system regarding the claims/UW process and services.
- Integrate into an Agile WoW atmosphere
- Research new opportunities for improving the current claims/UW services and functionalities offer
- Create an end-to-end vision for future digital and modern claims/UW solutions

What are the tasks that you’ll perform?
- _ Design, document, develop, maintain, improve, and configure all claims/UW processes and services with a multi-country usability perspective._
- _ Identify, design, document, develop, maintain, and configure all business rules and parameters linked to claims/UW processes and services._
- _ E2E claims/UW processes and services ownership (considering the key stakeholders and customer needs)_
- Responsible for negotiating new services with suppliers, establishing collaboration and SLA’s
- _ Support and collaboration with customers/partners or potential customers/partners (Business Units, suppliers, etc.)_
- _ Define, coordinate, and execute test plans related to new developments in claims/UW processes and services._

What are we looking for?

Bachelor’s degree, Master of science, completed studies in business administration or IT

5 years’ experience in the insurance industry

Experience programming or configuring using SQL or PL/SQL language

Expertise in digital processes automation

Knowledge of DDBB models

Good written and verbal communication skills (English).

Desirable good knowledge of life and non-life claims management

Preferably a technical profile with experience in claims/UW developments or integrations (claims developer or functional analyst)
