**WE ARE LOOKING FOR A DATA PRIVACY MANAGER**

AmRest is one of the largest independent international restaurant operators. Since 1993, we have been building a portfolio of well-known and powerful brands such as KFC, Pizza Hut, Burger King, and Starbucks, based on strong franchise and joint venture partnerships. In Spain we manage our own brands and franchises such as KFC, La Tagliatella, SushiShop and Baccoa.

**Job Purpose**:
Ensures all relevant AmRest companies in Spain and Portugal will comply with **General Data Protection Regulation** (‘**GDPR’)** obligations to secure company's sustainability and strategic goals realization.

**You will be responsible for ensure**:

- Ensures Group’s data protection framework is followed by local entities;
- Lead the Data Protection Impact Assessment and Legitimate Interests Assessment processes;
- Privacy due diligence of AmRest’s providers who process personal data on its behalf;
- Monitor compliance with applicable data protection laws and ensures regular compliance checks and drives GDPR Improvement plans execution across the market;
- Builds relationships with multiple internal stakeholders, business partners across the organization, collaborates with all levels of management on the market to ensure proper GDPR management and compliance processes execution, escalations, strong culture of governance and ethics;
- Oversees the process of development, implementation and regular monitoring of internal regulations. Provides guidance, consultation and opinion on the internal regulations (policies and procedures) introduced on the local market;
- Proactively looks for functional best practices, spreads knowledge, experience, findings and provides constructive inputs to support the superior in creation and roll-out of the departmental strategy.
- Ad-hoc support to other regional privacy managers/DPOs e.g. in France.

**The qualifications you need**:

- Two plus years of significant experience in working on data privacy projects
- Profound knowledge of GDPR
- Excellent communication and writing skills in English and Spanish, other language skills will be an asset (e.g. French, Portuguese)
- Be able to provide pragmatic, creative, collaborative and solution-oriented legal support;
- Knowledge of the Onetrust modules and/or other privacy regulations such as PIPL will be an advantage.
