Overview:
IE Business School’s Education & Academic Experience Unit (EAX) is responsible for the design and implementation of innovations in the educational journeys and academic experiences of students and faculty across all programs in the school. We take a human-centered approach aligned with the school’s vision of education as a transformational experience for students that accelerates their careers and enables them to drive positive change through responsible business.
The Director of Education & Academic Experience will be responsible for the analysis, design, and coordination of initiatives relative to learning innovation. She/he will report to the Dean of EAX, work closely with the Director of IE Publishing & Online Programs, the school’s team of Vice Deans and Program Experience staff, and will interact frequently with faculty, students, and relevant stakeholders involved in transversal projects on learning innovation.
**Responsibilities**:
**Key action areas**:
- Research and identify key trends and emerging innovations in higher education and support the process of dissemination within the relevant stakeholders.
- Provide support for the coordination of activities and events with internal and external stakeholders related to learning innovation.
- Analyze, design, and coordinate strategic projects to innovate in learning methodologies, program formats, content, and edtech tools and technologies.
- Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Carry out other related functions withing the definition and implementation of learning innovation.
- Work closely with the Dean of EAX to achieve the objectives of the unit.
Qualifications:
**Requirements**:
- Minimum of 6 years of professional experience.
- Master’s degree from a top university or education and experience relevant for the position.
- Training and/or experience in education, learning innovation, instructional design, and/or edtech and technology.
- Experience in project management and creative problem solving
- Written and oral fluency in English and working proficiency in Spanish.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with dotted-line relationships.
- Enthusiasm, team spirit and strong willingness to have an impact.
- Ability to work under pressure.
- International experience is a plus.
