The Procurement team plays a key role in Adevinta’s strategic roadmap and is made of 3 arms: Central Sourcing which look after global suppliers, Marketplaces which manages the procurement of each country and the Procurement Center of Excellence which is in charge of tools, systems and processes. The team was created from scratch 2 years ago and it is made by +/- 25 people.

Job Description

We are looking for a senior procurement leader who will be in charge of our local procurement teams in Spain, France, Italy, Germany and Benelux. The main responsibilities will be to create strong connections with the local leadership teams, support the team identifying and delivering synergies as well as acting as a procurement ambassador in the markets.

**Your main responsibilities will be**:

- Manage a team made of 7+ people in 4 different locations
- Build strong relationships with the senior local stakeholders, understand their needs and goals and align the local procurement strategies to them.
- Build local sourcing plans to deliver the agreed synergies and support the team when needed.
- Promote and champion the global procurement policies, tools and processes in the markets.
- Step into complex high-value negotiations, resolve issues and connect with strategic suppliers.
- Report to local and global leadership.

Qualifications
**Your skills and qualifications include**:

- Minimum of 10 years of experience in procurement with exposure to indirect sourcing in multiple categories including but not limited to (IT, Marketing, Corporate Services )
- Strong understanding of procurement operations areas (P2P, CLM, SRM ) as well as procurement technology.
- Experience managing a team, ideally managing multiple teams located in different markets.
- Exceptional commercial acumen (including strategy creation, implementation and benefit delivery, TCO building ) and strong negotiation abilities.
- Proficiency in comms, in particular when presenting projects to leadership.
- Experience working in multi-market, multi-product organizations with global and local procurement functions, ideally in a digital industry.
- Excellent people and influencing skills across all levels of the organization
- Ownership and result oriented person with proactivity to resolve problems and able to operate self-sufficiently.
- Have a team-player spirit, which benefits the group vs the individual
- English proficiency

**It would be great if you would also have**:

- MBA
- Post-graduate qualification (e.g. MSc/MBA) or a professional qualification such as MCIPS
- French is an asset
