**Job Description**:
Turner & Townsend are seeking a bi-lingual Project Manager (English/ Portuguese) to work on large scale construction projects. This position requires travel to Portugal and Spain.
- Extensive experience of project managing Mechanical/Electrical/Piping Systems on major construction projects.
- Successfully delivered several large-scale hi-tech construction projects on time and within budget.
- Leadership qualities and influencing skills as well as first-class communication skills allow you to effectively interact with clients, contractors, management, and colleagues.
- An ability to manage client expectations, influence change, and report/update accurately on progress drawing on you strong planning and organization skills.
- Leadership potential with experience of leading teams

What you will be doing:

- Manage safety and quality in accordance with relevant policies/procedures/protocols.
- Oversee progress for all Mechanical activities.
- Participating in design reviews where necessary.
- Ensure that the correct strategy is in place to ensure project milestones are achieved.
- Ensure flow of information between all parties to the contract is effective and timely.
- Lead or attend key meetings and be prepared to provide progress reports, collaborate to resolve issues, and communicate impacts to stakeholders.
- Keep the project scope under review including impacts to budget and schedule
- Identify risks and predict potential delays and action remedies.
- Performing cost analysis where required.

**Qualifications**:

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Extensive experience in managing large-scale MEP projects
- Experience in data center projects preferred
- Proficiency in project management software and tools.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, managing multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Fluency in English and Portuguese
- FIDIC experience nice to have
